Today’s ornament is a little Frozen inspired, I’ll admit! But with this paint swirled ornament you can come up with any color combinations to match your Christmas decor! Today’s ornament goes well with yesterday’s Silk Flower ornament and because you can choose your colors, you could easily make a set of all of these ornaments for your tree! I hope you are enjoying these DIY Christmas Ornaments! We have a few more days left!

12 Days of DIY Christmas Ornaments: Swirl Paint Ornament

What I love about this swirl paint ornament is that it would be a fun to make these at other times of year. I think the kids would love to mix and match paint colors no matter what month we are in! And I love how I can make them to match any holiday decor theme I might decide on each year!

    What you need:

    • Clear ornament
    • Assorted craft paint
    • Scissors
    • Ribbon for hanging

    What you do:

    1. Add several drops of each color of craft paint.
    2. Replace the lid and shake the ornament well so the colors swirl. Add more paint if needed.
    3. Replace the hook and tie with ribbon for hanging.

We are working on ornaments for a new tree with the theme of peace and hope. It will have silver, white, and a hint of blue on it. So I’m looking forward to making some of these ornaments using those colors next!

What colors would you paint your ornaments?
