It’s my favorite time of the year so I was a bit of a collector when it came to Christmas books for kids!
The great thing about growing your collection of holiday-themed books is that you can rotate them in throughout the year. It’s like getting new books each year! Your kids will be excited every time you break out the Christmas books again!
With our Christmas books we even do a fun tradition where I wrap each book in gift wrap and stack them under the tree! Each night in December, we unwrap a book and read it together.
They aren’t new books either! They’re the same ones every year. I just used the best Christmas books for kids to create our collection! If you do this tradition, you can make the 25th book be a brand new one that your kids unwrap on Christmas morning!
So why collect Christmas books for toddlers and preschoolers?
Because they pair so well with Christmas crafts! It’s a great way to encourage young readers! Share a book together and then make a fun craft! Sounds like the perfect thing to do on a chilly day!
