Easy Elf on the Shelf Ideas: Block Party

Today’s idea in my Easy Elf of the Shelf Ideas follows along the same lines as yesterday’s toddler gift idea of the Princess Dreams Book. W and C both love building with blocks. W loves tiny blocks but they are both happy to play with the larger blocks together. So having our elf throw a block party was a simple thing to do!

Easy Elf on the Shelf Ideas: Block Party

I was shopping a few weeks ago and found a new block set on sale. It wasn’t a huge set so I thought it would make a great little gift for Chippy (our elf) to bring for the kids one day. He’s kind of like an advent calendar of sorts around here! W likes to see what he will bring each day and where he will be hiding. He doesn’t always bring gifts, but it’s fun when he does!

So this is a simple idea! Grab a new set of blocks (or even some of the blocks your kids already have) and some glitter if you’re brave! It does add a little extra magic effect if you’re willing to clean it up when all is said and done.

Have your elf build something to surprise the kids and then he can pass the block set on to the kids to keep them busy!

The great thing about this easy idea is that if you have old kids, your elf can bring blocks for them too! Just be sure you don’t step on any of those tiny things in the middle of the night!

Who in your family would love this Elf on the Shelf block party?
