How to Make Instant Pot Spaghetti Recipe

This recipe is super easy to make and really only takes about five minutes to prep then ten minutes to cook. But like most instant pot recipes, it will take more time overall.

But it only takes one pot! You put everything in, including the pasta!

The Instant Pot has to build up the pressure before it officially starts cooking. So this recipe requires 10 minutes cook time but you’ll have the added time of the Instant Pot building pressure.

Depending on your pressure cooker, that will add time to your overall start to finish. But the great thing is that once you put everything in the pot, you can let it cook and spend time with the family!

This easy spaghetti recipe works great with your favorite spaghetti sauces. I usually pick out a different kind each time to change up the flavors a bit.

You can even use different pasta shapes though I find it works best with spaghetti, linguine, and fettuccine types.

This has become our favorite, go to instant pot recipe. We add a can or jar of mushrooms to it most of the time too. The only questions I have had are: do you drain the tomatoes? And by precooked meatballs, do you mean you cook the frozen ones before you put them in the pot? I have not been draining the tomatoes and have been cooking the meatballs beforehand. Thanks for sharing a great recipe!!

Do you need to cook/thaw the precooked meatballs first or do they go in the pot still frozen?

This is a fantastic meal. I am not a pasta fan, but this makes me one. Leftovers are even better.

This was a horrible recipe. It took almost 30 minutes to get my instant pot up to pressure only to have it NOT get up to pressure and the burn error came on. The whole bottom of the pot was burned. I followed this recipe exactly!
