Halloween Bingo Game
Halloween Bingo takes a classic game and adds a spooky twist, making it perfect for Halloween fun with your kids. Each bingo card is filled with Halloween things like ghosts, pumpkins, monsters, witches, spiders, Frankensteins, and more!
Instead of numbers, in this game you get to mark off these spooky symbols as they’re called. Everything is available in the printable game pack so you can set up a game and be ready to play in minutes!
How to Play Halloween Bingo
Playing Halloween Bingo is easy! It’s just like traditional bingo but with a spooky makeover. Here’s how to get started:
- Bingo Cards: Each player gets a bingo card filled with different Halloween-themed pictures or words. This game pack includes 30 printable bingo cards so you can play with larger groups at classroom parties or rotate cards with smaller groups of players.
- Choose a Caller: One person plays the caller, drawing cards that match the images on the bingo cards. You can use a bowl or any kind of container to put all of the calling cards in. You can also print two copies of the calling cards page so you have a key to match the drawn cards with after they’ve been drawn.
- Home to Play: As the caller announces each image or word, players mark their cards. You can use Halloween candy like candy corn or small paper markers for this.
- Winning: The first player to mark a full row, column, or diagonal shouts “BINGO!” and wins a spooky prize. You can play different variations on the Bingo game too.
Bingo Game Markers
One way to make Bingo Halloween even more fun is to use fun Halloween-themed items as game markers.
Here are some fun ideas with links to buy some of my favorite products.
- Halloween Stickers – If you use stickers and peel the backs off of them, the cards and stickers won’t be able to be used again. But you can use scissors to cut around the stickers, leaving the back on them, so they can be used more than once.
- Halloween Erasers – Little holiday themed erasers are always a favorite with kids. They make great Bingo markers because they won’t roll off the table and they won’t get blown away easily.
- Candy Corn or Candy Pumpkins – Candy corn or mallowcreme Pumpkins are super cute and fun to use when you play Halloween Bingo. Just be prepared to have your Bingo markers get eaten!
- Halloween M&Ms – If you love the idea of using something edible as a marker for the game, the Halloween colored M&Ms are great too!
You can also use more traditional Bingo markers. Some of my favorite things to use with kids:
- Bingo Daubers – Kids love these but if you use them, your game cards won’t be able to be reused. You can always print more though!
- Bingo Counting Chips – These were a staple in my classroom when I was teaching and they’re perfect for any Bingo game!
- Dry Erase Markers – If you laminate your Bingo cards, you can use dry erase markers to cross off spaces as they are called.
Choose something that adds a bit of fun flavor to the game while keeping it festive to make Halloween Bingo a little extra!
Bingo Variations
You can play Halloween Bingo the traditional way. The first person to get first across vertical, horizontal, or diagonal calls out Bingo! But you can also play different variations of the gameplay if you want to play more than once.
- Blackout: This version of Bingo is played where players try to fill their entire game card and cover all of the squares.
- Four Corners: In this version, players try to cover the four corners of their Bingo card.
- X Marks the Spot: To win this variation, players must cover two diagonal lines that cross in the middle to make an X on their board.
- Silent Bingo: Play a version where players must act out or mime the symbols they need. It’s perfect for getting some giggles.
- Speed Rounds: Add a timer and see who can fill their card first within a set time.
- Trick or Treat Rounds: After calling “Bingo,” winners draw from a bowl of tricks or treats. Will they win candy or a spooky dare?
Halloween Bingo Prizes
Holiday Bingo games are even more fun if you have themed prizes. There are easy Halloween prize ideas that you can get a good amount of without spending too much so they work great for classroom parties. But you could also use these ideas to make goody bags as prizes if you’re playing with a smaller group of kids.
- Halloween Stickers
- Halloween Erasers
- Halloween Light Up Rings
- Halloween Bouncy Balls
- Halloween Temporary Tattoos
- Halloween Slap Bracelets
Another great idea is getting a large pack of Halloween Party Favors to use as prizes so you have a variety of options.

Tips & Tricks
This printable is designed to be printed on 8.5″x11″ sheets of paper. You can also print two pages per sheet to create half-sheet cards.
Directions for 2 Cards per Page
Under Print menu, More Settings select 2 for pages Per Sheet. then print the pages you want to use. You will need to trim them with scissors or a paper trimmer.
Using Calling Cards
Print a copy of the calling card pages and cut them apart on the bold lines. Turn them over and draw one at a time to play the game. Print as many of the Bingo game cards as needed. There are 30 different card designs.
Reuseable Cards
If you’d like to turn these Halloween Bingo cards into a game you can use multiple times, I recommend printing the cards on cardstock and then laminating them. Then they will be more durable. You can also use dry erase markers to cross out spaces as they’re called which always worked well for me when I was teaching.
