    Back to school is a busy time for many families, ours included! So I’m always working on new dinner ideas that are quick and easy so I can get my family all sitting down together before we have to go our separate ways. My slow cooker is a huge help in the fall as we get back into the school and after school routine. I love being able to toss everything in and forget about it until dinner time rolls around. And thisย slow cooker cheeseburger casserole has proven to be a favorite around our house!

    Slow Cooker Cheeseburger Casserole

    I have to admit that I use ground beef and cheese a lot in my kitchen because I know my family enjoys them. Plus, there are tons of different recipes that use those two basic ingredients. So when I was working on something for the slow cooker, I knew I wanted to make it cheesy for sure!

    Need an easy dinner recipe for a busy weeknight? This easy Slow Cooker Cheeseburger casserole has a simple ingredient list. Throw it in the slow cooker and forget about it until dinner time!

    What You Need:

    • 1 lb ground beef
    • 2 cans (14 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
    • 3 cups Crystal Farms shredded cheese
    • 2 lbs frozen shredded hashbrowns
    • 3 Tbs. butter, melted
    • Salt and pepper, as desired

    What You Do:

    1. Brown and drain your ground beef.
    2. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.
    3. Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
    4. Place mixture in slow cooker.
    5. Cook on LOW for 3-4 hours.
