Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or use non-stick cooking spray to grease it.
In a large pot, melt the butter over low heat. You want to use low heat so the butter does not burn.
Once the butter is completely melted, add the mini marshmallows, stirring until completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
Remove the pot from the heat and gently stir in the Rice Krispies cereal until it is all well coated with the marshmallow mixture.
Press the cereal mixture into the baking sheet in an even layer.
Allow the pan of rice krispies treats to cool for 1 hour until they have set up.
Once set, lift the whole thing out of the pan using the edges of the parchment paper. Cut into rectangles or squares.
Melt each color of candy melt at 50% power in 30 second increments, stirring in between, until they're completely melted.
Use a spoon or piping bag to drizzle the red white and blue melted candy over each of the crispy rice treats.
While the melted candy is still wet, sprinkle each pretzel with sprinkles.
Allow the treats to cool at room temperature until the candy melts are set.

Notes: Store leftover treats in an airtight container at room temperature for 2 to 3 days. Put a piece of parchment or wax paper between each of the treats to prevent them from sticking together.
