Heat the oven to 400°F. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick spray or use parchment paper.
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add hot dogs and boil for 3 minutes. Remove from water and allow to cool so you can handle them. Save the hot dog water!
While the hot dogs are cooking, roll out pizza dough and cut lengthwise into eight 1/2″ strips.
Spread the crushed jalapeños in pie dish or small baking dish.
Pour one cup of the hot dog water into a bowl that is big enough to fit the hot dogs.
Add the baking soda and stir until dissolved.
Wrap each hot dog with one strip of dough, twisting it around and back. Leave a 1/2 inch space at each end.
Carefully dip each wrapped hot dog into the water mixture being sure to cover it completely.
Gently roll each hot dog in the crushed jalapeños and place on baking sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes or until browned on top.
Serve with French’s Ketchup and French’s Classic Yellow Mustard.
