Ingredients
- 2 21 oz cans of apple pie filling
- 1-2 tsp. apple pie spice
- 1 15.25 oz box of yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup butter melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350℉.
- Spray a 9×13 dish with nonstick spray.
- Dump the cans of apple filling into the 9×13 pan and spread out in an even layer over the bottom of the baking dish.
- Sprinkle apple pie spice over the top of the apple pie filling.
- Then sprinkle the yellow cake mix over the top of the apple layers.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter then pour it over the top of the cake mix layer.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Storage: To store leftover apple dump cake, cover the pan with foil or transfer pieces to an airtight container. Keep it in the refrigerator for up to four days.
