In a large mixing bowl, fold together the cinnamon roll pieces and the apple pie filling.
Pour the mixture into the baking dish and smooth into an even layer.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter then pour it over the top of the cake mix layer.
Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown and cinnamon rolls in the center are cooked through.
Allow to cool slightly then then drizzle the icing from the cans of cinnamon rolls over top and serve.
Notes
Storage: Allow the cinnamon roll apple cobbler to cool completely before putting away the leftovers. Then cover the dish with foil or plastic wrap, or put the leftovers to an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
