    • 9ร—13 baking dish
    • Large mixing bowl
    • Silicone spatula
    • Chefโ€™s knife

    Step By Step Instructions

This recipe makes 12 servings. It takes 5 minutes of prep time and 40-45 minutes of bake time.

Step 1. Preheat the oven to 350โ„‰.

Step 2. Spray a 9ร—13 dish with nonstick spray.

Step 3. Cut the cinnamon rolls into quarters.

Step 4. In a large mixing bowl, fold together the cinnamon roll pieces and the apple pie filling.

Step 5. Pour the mixture into the baking dish and smooth into an even layer.

Step 6. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter then pour it over the top of the cake mix layer.

    Variations

    • Add chopped nuts: Sprinkle pecans or walnuts on top for extra crunch.
    • Use different pie fillings: Try cherry or peach pie filling for a fun flavor change.
    • Add a sprinkle of spices: Mix in a bit of nutmeg or ginger for even more warm flavor.

    Leftovers & Storage

Allow the cinnamon roll apple cobbler to cool completely before putting away the leftovers. Then cover the dish with foil or plastic wrap, or put the leftovers to an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat portions in the microwave or oven until warm before serving.

    Tips & Tricks

    • Melt the butter before pouring it over the cake mix so every bite comes out golden and rich.
    • Spread the cake mix evenly and donโ€™t stir it together with the pie filling. This helps create that perfect crumbly topping.
    • Let the dump cake cool for about 15 minutes before serving. It will set up and be easier to scoop.
    • If you like extra spice, add a shake of cinnamon or nutmeg to the apple pie filling.
    • For easy cleanup, you can also line your baking dish with parchment paper if you do not want to use nonstick spray.

    Recipe FAQs

Can I make Apple Cinnamon Roll Bake ahead of time?
Yes! You can assemble everything the night before, cover, and refrigerate. In the morning, just bake as directed.

Can I use homemade cinnamon rolls or pie filling?
Absolutely. If you have homemade cinnamon rolls or pie filling, they work great and taste even fresher.

How do I keep the rolls from getting soggy?
Make sure to bake uncovered until the tops are golden and the center is cooked through. This helps keep the rolls fluffy.

Yes, just wrap slices in plastic wrap and foil, then freeze. Thaw in the fridge overnight and reheat before serving.
