Before you start, put the cake mix in a large microwave-safe bowl to heat treat it. Heat it in the microwave for 30 second intervals. Stir between each heat session. It will be safe to eat once it reaches 165 degrees. This should take one to two minutes.
In the large bowl, mix the cake mix and pudding together.
Gently fold the whipped topping into the mixture.
Put the dip in your serving bowl and cover. Then chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour or until you’re ready to serve.
Top with extra sprinkles and serve with pretzels, graham crackers, or your favorite dippers.
