Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second increments, stirring between each one until they’re melted.
Pour the melted chocolate in an even layer on the baking sheet. Smooth with a silicone spatula. Allow the layer to cool and harden. You can put the baking sheet in the refrigerator to speed up this step.
Repeat the steps to melt the white chocolate chips. Then pour the melted white chocolate in an even layer on top of the semi-sweet chocolate layer. Allow it to cool and harden.
In separate microwave-safe bowls, melt the red, white, and blue candy melts. Use a spoon to drizzle each color over the white chocolate layer.
Before the candy melts layer hardens, use a toothpick to swirl the colors.
Sprinkle the red, white, and blue sprinkles and M&Ms across the top of the bark while the candy melts are still slightly soft so they stick in the candy bark.
Allow the sheet of bark to cool and harden completely.
Once the bark has hardened, lift it out of the baking sheet using the parchment paper. Break it into pieces and enjoy.
Notes
You can store leftover red white and blue candy bark in an airtight container at room temperature or in the fridge for up to a week.
