boxes white cake mix

package cherry gelatin

package blue raspberry gelatin
Red & blue food coloring
Vanilla frosting
Instructions
Heat oven to 350℉.
Mix one box of cake mix with 1 egg, 1/2 cup melted butter, 1 Tablespoon water, the package of cherry gelatin and red food coloring.
Mix until well combined and a dough forms. You can add more food coloring until you get the shade of red you like.
Then repeat with remaining ingredients using blue raspberry gelatin and blue food coloring to create the blue cookie dough.
Use a medium cookie scoop (or roll balls of dough) and place on parchment lined baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes. It did take our blue dough longer to bake so keep an eye on your cookies and it may take a bit longer depending on your oven.
Remove from oven and let cool completely.
Once the cookies are completely cool, spread vanilla frosting on the bottom of a red cookie and top with a blue cookie to make your sandwich cookies!
