If you need easy treats that will be a hit when you entertain, I’ll always recommend candy bark and graham cracker toffee.
Both are easy to make and everyone loves them! Check out our twist on the classic graham cracker toffee recipe that makes it perfect for Valentine’s Day!
Graham Cracker Toffee Recipe
The key ingredients when you make toffee graham crackers is the chocolate. Usually, I use a milk chocolate and you might have even heard of a similar version that people call praline crack that’s delicious!
For a different take on graham cracker toffee bark, we switched out just a few ingredients to give it a feel that’s great for celebrations like Valentine’s Day and Easter!
It’s a white chocolate and berry take on the original!
Graham Cracker Toffee Ingredients
- 15-18 honey graham crackers
- 2 sticks butter (1 cup)
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 can (14 oz) sweet condensed milk
- 1 Tablespoon solid shortening
- 1 cup plus 1/4 cup Wilton white chocolate melts
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup dried blueberries, optional
While the ingredient list is a bit longer than I usually go for (I like to keep it simple around here), it’s an easy recipe!
If you make it once, you’ll be a pro and be throwing some version of graham cracker toffee together all the time!
How to Make Toffee Graham Crackers Bark
STEP 1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Then line a jelly roll pan with aluminum foil and coat with non-stick cooking spray.
STEP 2. Cover the entire bottom of the pan with graham crackers. You may have to break some in half to completely cover the pan.
STEP 3. Add the butter and sugar in a medium saucepan. Melt over medium-low heat until the mixture begins to boil. Allow to boil for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then remove from heat.
STEP 4. Add the sweetened condensed milk and stir for about 30 seconds to mix well. Let the toffee mixture cool for 1 minute.
STEP 5. Pour the mixture on top of the graham crackers. Use a spatula to spread in a thin layer over the crackers.
STEP 6. Place in oven and bake for 6-7 minutes or until you see the toffee mixture start to bubble.
STEP 7. Remove from oven and lay pan on a wire rack. Immediately sprinkle the white chocolate melts on top of the warm toffee graham crackers.
STEP 8. Once the graham crackers are completely covered with the white chocolate melts, use a spatula to spread the melted white chocolate evenly.
STEP 9. Before the white chocolate layer cools and sets, sprinkle with the dried cranberries (and blueberries if you use them).
STEP 10. Chill for 1 hour before cutting or breaking into pieces to serve.
You can store the graham cracker toffee bars in an airtight container for up to one week. (If it lasts that long!)
