HOW TO MAKE SANTA CLAUS PAPER CRAFT
I’ve broken the steps down to very basic steps. Don’t be intimated by the long list. Learn how to to make Santa Claus out of paper is easy, I promise!
STEP 1
Print and cut out the template patterns.
The template includes pieces for:
- beard
- mustache
- face
- nose
- body (the big rectangle)
- belt (the strip and the small square)
- hat (semi circular piece)
STEP 2
Trace template patterns onto craft or construction paper.
- Red paper – body, hat
- Black paper – belt pieces
- White paper – beard, mustache
- Ivory paper – face
For Santa’s nose, I usually cut the small circle and then just color it. You can also cut Santa’s face out of white paper and color it as well.
STEP 3
Add gold glitter to the small black square and set aside to dry.
STEP 4
Glue the skinny black strip along the middle of the red triangle (going lengthwise).
STEP 5
Glue the face piece along the top edge of the red rectangle. Line the top edge of the face piece with the edge of the rectangle.
STEP 6
Glue the beard on top of the face, lining up the top edge with the edge of the rectangle like you did with the face.
STEP 7
Place the mustache, nose and small googly eyes on the face in the desired position.
STEP 6
Glue the small gold square to the middle of the black belt strip.
STEP 7
To make the hat, you will turn the semi-circle piece into a cone.
Put glue on the edges of the paper and hold together until you have a cone. Allow to dry completely.
STEP 8
Glue a small white pom pom to the top of the hat.
STEP 9
Roll the red rectangle prepared and glue the ends to turn it into a cylinder shape. Allow to dry completely.
STEP 10
Attach the cone hat on the top end of the roll.
STEP 11
Then pull some cotton balls apart and glue a bit of cotton to the beard and mustache.
Let everything dry completely and you’ll have your own adorable Santa Claus paper craft! These are perfect for holiday decorating too.
