Why I Love Cheesecake Fluff Salad

Can I Make This Dessert Salad Ahead of Time?

Yes, this is an easy make ahead dessert recipe! I recommend you chill it for at least one hour but you can also make it the night before and chill until youโ€™re ready to serve.

    Variations

There are easy variations that you can make of this cheesecake fluff recipe:

    • Cherry cheesecake fluff โ€“ use fresh cherries instead of the other berries
    • Strawberry cheesecake fluff โ€“ you can use only strawberries if you prefer that flavor and color
    • Blackberries and raspberries also work great in this recipe!

    Tips & Tricks

    • Make sure that your whipped topping is thawed so that it will mix in smoothly and youโ€™ll get the fluffy texture. Be sure to use Cool Whip and not just whipped cream. They have different textures and ithe texture wonโ€™t be quite right if you donโ€™t use whipped topping.
    • You can use sugar-free Cool Whip and sugar free pudding mix to reduce the amount of sugar in this recipe.
    • I prefer to use fresh berries but you can also substitute frozen strawberries ย and frozen blueberries for the fresh ones. Just be sure to thaw them and pat them dry before incorporating into the cheesecake fruit salad.
    • You can also add more texture and crunch to this recipe by adding chopped nuts like pecans, walnuts, and almonds. Other mix-ins that work well are coconut flakes and chcocolate chips. Try topping it with crumbled graham crackers if you want even more of a cheesecake taste.
    • If you donโ€™t like cheesecake pudding, you can also substitute instant vanilla pudding mix in this fluff with cream cheese. The cream cheese will still give it some cheesecake flavor vibes.
