Bisquick Breakfast Casserole is packed with sausage, bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns! It’s a class breakfast that works great for feeding larger groups. The leftovers are delicious too. Oh, and it’s SO easy to make. You knew it would be if I was sharing the recipe, right?

    BISQUICK BREAKFAST CASSEROLE

During the winter months, especially around the holidays, I crave comfort food for breakfast. I love a warm breakfast we can all sit down and enjoy together. I make a lot of my Slow Cooker Breakfast Casserole but sometimes I want to change it up a bit.

While these breakfast casseroles are very similar, they also have some delicious differences. They’re both full of bacon, eggs, sausage, and cheese, but the Bisquick breakfast bake adds something a little different to the mix. It reminds me almost of having biscuits along with breakfast.

I love them both, it just depends on how I feel like prepping breakfast!

    SAUSAGE BREAKFAST CASSEROLE WITH BISQUICK

So why Bisquick? Because Bisquick breakfast recipes are the best! Once I discovered you can use it to make more than pancakes and biscuits, I fell in love. I love simple recipes and I like shortcuts. Bisquick offers both!

If you haven’t tried Bisquick Cinnamon Rolls or Bisquick Coffee Cake, you need to try them and you’ll know what I’m talking about!

But back to making a Bisquick egg and cheese casserole.

One of the best things about this recipe is that you can tweak it to your favorite flavors. If you’re not a huge sausage fan, add more bacon! If you want turkey bacon, go for it!

HOW TO MAKE BISQUICK SAUSAGE EGG CASSEROLE

I bake this breakfast casserole in a 9×13 pan and it makes about 8 servings. You could easily make a smaller casserole or make a few at a time which is why I love this recipe so much. It’s very flexible!

To make your Bisquick Breakfast Casserole, you’ll need:

    • Pork sausage
    • Bacon
    • Frozen Shredded Hash Browns
    • Shredded Cheese
    • Bisquick
    • Eggs
    • Milk
    • Salt & Pepper

The exact measurements are listed in the recipe card at the bottom of the post.

If you’re the type that loves a good veggie omelet, you can easily add chopped vegetables into this easy breakfast bake recipe! Chop onions or peppers and brown them with your sausage. It’s a delicious addition if you don’t have to worry about any picky eaters.

    BISQUICK EGG CASSEROLE

Before you put the casserole together, you need to brown your sausage and drain it. You also need to cook and chop your bacon. You can also use sausage that is precooked and you can use real bacon bits if you’re really looking to save time.

Once you’ve prepped your sausage and bacon, the rest of the prep is quick and easy.

Preheat your oven to 400°F and spray a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

Sausage and hashbrowns in a mixing bowl

Mix together the sausage, bacon, hash browns, and one cup of shredded cheese in a large mixing bowl. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.

Pour the meat and hashbrown mixture into the baking dish.

Egg sausage and hashbrown casserole in a baking dish

Whisk together the Bisquick, eggs, and a milk in a separate mixing bowl. The pour the batter over the hash brown mixture in the baking dish.

    Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.

Take the casserole out of the oven and top with the remaining cup of shredded cheese.

Put it back in the oven and bake it for an additional five to ten minutes or under the cheese is melted and the eggs are firm and set.

Allow the egg bake to cool slightly and serve warm.

IS THIS AN OVERNIGHT BISQUICK BREAKFAST CASSEROLE?

You can use this as an overnight casserole recipe. To do that, prepare the casserole as directed in the recipe. Then cover the pan and refrigerate for 8-24 hours.

Remove from the fridge and back as directed. You may need to add additional baking time.
