Leftovers Storage & Reheating
- Leftover taquitos can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
- You can also freeze them in zipper freezer bags for up to 2 months. I recommend freezing the taquitos before air frying them and then using the air fryer to cook them when youโre ready to enjoy them.
- To reheat taquitos, heat the air fryer to 400โ and cook them for 3-5 minutes or until heated all the way through. Keep a close eye on them so you donโt overcook them while reheating.
Tips & Tricks
- Spraying the homemade taquitos in air fryer with nonstick cooking spray helps them really crisp up. You can also brush them lightly with olive oil, if you prefer.
- Preheating the air fryer also helps you get crispier taquitos!
- Wrap the tortillas tightly and place them seam side down so the taquitos donโt open up in the air fryer.
