Need something sweet? Make one of these easy Valentine treats for someone you love!
Valentine’s Day means all the sweet treats! Or I use it as an excuse to indulge in a few extra sweets! It’s fun to get in the kitchen with the kids and make Valentine Day treats so we’re sharing some of our favorite Valentine treats that we’ve made in the past!
I’m excited to make a few new ones this year to add to our sweet desserts and Valentine’s Day snack ideas!
Easy Valentine Treats
Valentine treats can range from cookies and candy to treats that have a bit of a healthier vibe. We’ve done a little of both so you’ll find something you and your kids will enjoy!
Valentine Treats: Cookies
Our latest Valentine Day treats are cookies made from this easy chocolate cake mix cookie recipe!
These cookies are perfect to make with your kids because the recipe is so simple. You can let them man the frosting bag and they will love you forever! It’s perfect for Valentine’s Day!
If you want a bit more than just plain old chocolate (although who doesn’t want chocolate around Valentine’s Day?), how about a chocolate and peanut butter combination? That’s a match made in heaven and Valentine’s Day is all about perfect matches, right?
Try making our Valentine Peanut Butter Cup cookies for one of my favorite Valentine treats! I also love that you can really use them for any special day (or any regular day). If you need a good holiday cookie swap recipe, this is definitely one to save for later in the year too!
More Sweet Valentine Day Treats
If you’re looking for something besides a good cookie, we’ve got a few valentines treats that are easy to make and will give you a sugar rush!
I’m a huge fan of cake balls and have been making them for years. These Valentine Cake Balls are some of the first ones I made and the flavor pairing is one that I’ve come back to year after year!
Another classic recipe that works well for a twist to become tasty Valentine treats are Peanut Butter Balls. You might also know them as Buckeyes but with a change up in the chocolate they’re just perfect for this time of year!
Valentine’s Day Candy Bark is actually made with candy and cookies. We love it because you can take the basic recipe and change it up so that it has all of your family’s favorite flavors in it! Be sure to check out just how easy this one is to make. My kids love to help make it!
Graham Cracker Valentine Treats
Graham crackers might not be the first thing you think of when you think of Valentine’s Day snack ideas but my kids love them which means we’ve used them!
You can go full on sweet treat or you can take a healthier approach. We’ve got snack ideas for both!
For a sweet approach, try making these Graham Cracker Valentine Envelopes. They’re super cute if you can bring homemade treats to school parties! I think they could also work as a fun “craft” treat to do as an activity during the classroom party too. You could let the kids decorate them with conversation hearts or other candy.
For a healthier approach that you can make for the kids (or with the kids) after school, get everything you need to make these Valentine Graham Cracker Snacks. You get a good snack but still a hint of chocolate!
Another way to use graham crackers to make a treat is to make Graham Cracker Toffee. WARNING! This stuff is addictive! It’s so easy to make and so easy to eat!
