Step By Step Instructions
This recipe makes 12 servings. It takes about 10 minutes of prep time and I recommend chilling for at least 1 hour before serving (though it is delicious right after you mix it too!)
Step 1.ย Allow the cream cheese to soften at room temperature. Thaw the whipped topping.

Step 2. In a large mixing bowl, add the cream cheese and use the electric mixer to beat until smooth.
Step 3. Add the powdered sugar, mint extract, and green gel food coloring. You want the shade of green to be darker than you want the final dip to be because the color will lighten when you add the Cool Whip whipped topping to the mixture. Mix until well combined.
Step 4. Gently fold the Cool Whip and mini chocolate chips into themixture until everything is well combined and there are no more Cool Whip streaks.
Step 5.ย Cover and chill for 1 hour.
Step 6.ย Then put the dip in a serving bowl and serve with cookies, fruit, or your favorite dippers and enjoy!

- For a thicker dip, use less whipped topping. For a fluffier dip, add more.
- You can use a stand mixer or an electric mixer to blend the ingredients together. If you donโt have either, you can just use a spatula or mixing spoon. It will just take a bit more work on your part.
